Options Education
What are the different options for my pregnancy?
You had plans, and pregnancy was not one of them. So now, what are your pregnancy options? Taking some time to learn all the facts will help you in making your decision. Whatever you are feeling, we are here to help you navigate through this! You are not alone!
Insight Women’s Center’s options education includes factual information on all three of the choices you have if you are pregnant. They include:
Abortion
Parenting
Adoption
Always Free, Always Caring,
Always Confidential
Option: Abortion
You’re thinking, how did this happen to me? You never expected to be in a place where you had to make a choice regarding an unplanned pregnancy.
“Choice” is the act of making a decision when faced with two or more possibilities. It’s essential to understand all your options, including alternatives to abortion. Our job is to empower you with resources and the information you need to decide which pregnancy option is right for you.
Make the best choice for YOU.
Our client advocates will share accurate information about the abortion option: its procedures, and risks. There are two kinds of abortions available depending on how far you are in your pregnancy: the abortion pill and in-clinic surgical abortions. While our Center does not offer, recommend, or refer for abortions, we can help you determine how far along you are and share accurate information about abortion procedures and risks—empowering you to make the best choice for you.
Option: Adoption
You had a plan; getting pregnant right now wasn’t part of it. Making an adoption plan can be a beautiful option to consider for your unplanned pregnancy.
You Are In Control. This is your choice and your journey.
- You choose the forever family for your baby.
- You choose the agency or organization to help with the adoption plan.
- You choose whether it’s an open, closed, or partially open adoption and how much contact you have with your baby.
Adoption Can Be a Beautiful Option for You and Your Baby.
Insight Women’s Center is here to help you consider all your pregnancy options, including the many opportunities adoption provides. We provide free information about the adoption process and referrals to local adoption agencies that can answer additional questions for you. Developing an adoption plan may be the best option for you.
Option: Parenting
You have goals and dreams; parenting right now may not have been one of them. Your goals and dreams are still before you. The time frame may look a little different.
Insight Women’s Center provides support and resources so you can begin to prepare to parent with clarity and confidence. We’re here to help you flourish in your new role as a mom:

Additional Questions You Might Have
All of our services are free.
The services provided to you by our center are made possibly by individuals, businesses, and local churches who care about you and what you are going through. We are a faith-based organization & hope to empower you to confidently choose life for your baby, but we also recognize & respect that it’s your choice. We offer non-judgmental ongoing support for you for all three different options for your pregnancy.
You need to bring a photo ID. Having a full bladder is recommended if receiving a pregnancy test or limited ultrasound.
Our tests are professional medical-grade quality, urine pregnancy tests administered by our licensed medical professionals. If the test is positive, we can provide a confirmation of pregnancy.
Please allow anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes for your appointment. Our administrative assistant can give you a better idea of how much time your appointment will take depending on the services you request when scheduling.
You can bring your partner, a family member, or friend. First, we will talk with you privately. Then if you give us consent to have your support person in the room, your guest will be able to join you for certain portions of your appointment—including the ultrasound. However, due to our strict confidentiality policy, there will be times we need to speak to you privately. Also, we encourage you to make other arrangements for your children but understand sometimes that may not be possible. Children are welcome to stay with a responsible person in our waiting area.
Our medical services do not include testing for STD/STI’s. Our caring medical staff can educate you on the different types of STD/STI’s and how they can affect your pregnancy. Then provide a referral to a local medical facility that can provide testing for you.
We adhere to a strict privacy and confidentiality policy. Clients are protected from disclosure of information that violates their right to privacy except where required by law, required for public health reasons, required to avert a threat of harm to the client or a third person, or when other circumstances may reasonably warrant such use or disclosure without prior authorization (e.g., abuse reporting, suicide/homicide prevention, etc.)
